Dental school finder
Put in your DAT Academic Average and GPA. We compare them with the entering-class averages that 75 US dental schools report, and sort the schools by how your numbers line up.
Each school is placed in one of four groups - above, close to, below or well below its entering-class averages - with out-of-state tuition, whether it considers international applicants, and whether it runs an advanced standing program for internationally trained dentists. Not sure what your Academic Average would be? Take the free DAT practice test, and read how DAT600 estimates scores on the 200-600 scale.

Five-year trends in who gets in
- DAT barely moves - enrollees' Academic Average went about 436 to 439 (est., converted from the old 1-30 scale).
- GPA keeps rising - enrollees' GPA went 3.59 to 3.68.
- International seats are tightening - 38.3% of international applicants enrolled in 2021, 35.2% in 2025.
Read this before you trust a row
- This is not an admission probability. A school's average is one number; admitted students sit above and below it.
- Many schools still report averages on the old 1-30 scale. We convert those to 200-600 and mark them est. The ADA publishes no official conversion.
- Figures come from each school's own site where it publishes them (collected 2026-10). Rows marked * were filled from public aggregators (ADEA Official Guide figures quoted by DAT-Prep, Student Doctor Network).
- The Asian and international toggles are national estimates, not school data: no school or ADEA publishes admission rates by race or citizenship per school.
- Advanced standing = a program for dentists trained outside the US/Canada, listed in ADEA CAAPID.
