About DAT600

DAT practice, written for the DAT.

DAT600 is a practice platform for the Dental Admission Test: original questions at the real section lengths, on a screen that works like test day, with score estimates whose method we publish.

What DAT600 is built on

01

Written for the DAT

Every question and passage is original, written for DAT600 in the formats of the real test. Perceptual Ability figures are drawn for the format, not photographed from a book. 2,800 questions across 40 timed tests so far.

02

Real lengths and timing

Each section runs at its test-day length and clock: 100 Survey of Natural Sciences questions in 90 minutes, 90 Perceptual Ability questions in 60 minutes, 50 Reading Comprehension questions in 60 minutes, 40 Quantitative Reasoning questions in 45 minutes. A full-length puts all four in test-day order with the optional break after the PAT.

03

The test-day screen

Section clocks, marking and a review screen, highlighting, strike-out, the basic on-screen calculator in Quantitative Reasoning and the periodic table in Natural Sciences - the tools you will actually have, so nothing on the day is new.

04

Scores from real records

The ADA does not publish its raw-to-scale table. Each section is read from raw-to-scale results students recorded, carried to the 200-600 scale with the ADA's official concordance, and shown as an estimate with a range. The method is published in full.

05

Every answer explained

Finish a section and every question opens with its answer, a worked explanation and the reason each wrong choice is wrong. That review is where most of the learning is.

06

Free during the beta

Everything is free while DAT600 is in beta. Ratings and problem reports from people using it decide what we fix and write next.

DAT600 is operated by TCG Company. Questions, corrections and problem reports are welcome through the contact page.
